We are back today to give you an idea or two of how to make your own embellishments or elements for your April Counterfeit Kit!
Let's take one more peek at this month's kit to get the ideas started.
We have the SCT Sampler Kit from April 2022 from the Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine,
Master Forger Misty created these simple little items. While she usually gets involved with her forgeries it was really refreshing to just keep it low key!
MF Lisa here - you now that I love the easy makes and I found this super easy YouTube video by "Notches Sewing" for making bows over your fingers. I really struggle with making neat and pretty bows so I will definitely be trying this technique out! YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/P5SI2MmXV8g
There is another one here by "AmyFamily DIY" that covers single and double bows too: https://youtu.be/m0KCATHCbHs
And "Red Ted Art" has a similar technique but uses a fork instead of your fingers: https://youtu.be/qbyAFoHjLUs
I also looked on Pinterest for some printable birthday images and found this cute set by the Pineapple Paper Co. They are adorable and could be edited to print at journalling card size!
MF Leslie broke out her fussy-cutting scissors, punches & dies to create her own ephemera pack.
These are my FAVE! |
