It's the end of the month and I must say goodbye to my June kit! So, how did you do this month? Did you kill it?? Did you only use a very little bit of it? Never fear! Let me give you a few ideas for using up your beautiful kits!!
One of my go to ideas is to always make a card. I will admit, however, I do not LIKE to make cards so this month I haven't made any cards. Sometimes I will actually add items to make a card to my kits for this purpose! You can always add stamped sentiments and use up all of your scraps!
This month, I chose to take all of my scraps and back a cutfile. I cut this cutfile a few months ago when my Cameo was being very obnoxious and cutting things incorrectly. I salvaged this particular cutfile and have had it set aside until very recently. In fact, I cut off the word Sweet that was attached to the cutfile to create this layout. This layout was NOT created with my June CKCB kit though. I used scraps from another kit that I was trying to use up, but I wanted to use that title on it.
The rest of this cutfile I used the scraps from my June kit to back it! I will set this aside to use on a layout here very soon.
There's a couple of divets in the circles where I cut out the title portion but I think I can cover those and still make a pretty layout! Don't you?
I did NOT kill my kit this month! I did create 11 layouts with my kit his month. That did take a pretty good chunk out of my kit. I will likely put the rest of full papers, alphas, and embellishments back into their homes in my scrapbook space! This is okay! Sometimes, we make a big kit and don't use it all. I normally do use my entire kit but I have scrapbooked with other things this month as well as my CKCB kit. So, I am good with 11 layouts!
Make sure you check out tomorrow's post! Master Forger Leslie has a new inspiration kit picked out for us to curate a new kit for July ready for us to see in the morning! Thank you for hanging out with me this month!!! Love you all!
I love those circles with the colours. That will come in handy I’m sure.
