February 2025 - Challenge #3 Let's Get Sketchy

It is sketch time for February. Before we dive into the sketch, remember that this is the inspiration we are working from this month.

Kitaholic KitsMay 2024 kit

With this kit in mind I created a sketch specifically for February. I wanted to focus on the geometrical shapes seen in some of the supplies. So here is the sketch playing with triangles!

Let's see how our team used this sketch...

Guest Designer Sheryle

Sheryle said she enjoyed working with the triangles.

Master Forger Ryann

Ryann is still working on the album from when she was dating her husband. She used some Recollections Journal Card Pads and fussy cut the little banners on the right. Then she used a CM Border Maker Cartridge to make the rest of the banners for her page. The wood veneer title over some scraps she had in her kit helped them stand out.

Master Forger Christine

I decided to flip the sketch vertically as I saw "mountains" when I looked at the triangles.  And this was perfect for documenting my daughter's recent trip and her going out onto Devil's Bridge!

And rather than banners, I used stars to "drape" across the layout.  This was so fun!!

With our third challenge under our belts, we are seeing the end of our current kit. It isn't quite over yet, we still have a couple of things in store. Here is what is still coming up.
