Welcome back to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog! As a reminder, this month's inspiration kit is lil' man by Bella Gypsy!
Let's see how the team interpreted this week's challenge!
Master Forger Tara
This is such a FUN challenge that Master Forger Brandi chose for us as our second using our kits. I have a ton of papers in my kit that I might have been hoarding FOREVER, so I just took a deep breath and started cutting. LOL! Here's my layout. I chose to use gears and I used them in three different ways-my patterned paper background, gear die cuts, and metal gears.

So for my layout, I decided to go with what I thought might be the most challenging element - gears! I did have to cheat a bit and get into my stash for a gear paper, as that is one way I am using the element. Then I found a gear stamp in a really old set which I fussy cut to add as embellishments. Lastly, I had a gear wood veneer piece I got this past Christmas.
What a great challenge!
Since I was scrapping a photo of my grandson I decided to use hearts. I thought it would be fitting for a baby layout. I stenciled hearts on the tags and the blue piece of card stock that I used for layering. I used hearts that I had made for Forgeries on the Fourth by using a heart punch, cutting one heart in half, then gluing the halves together. The third way I used hearts was by sprinkling blue puffy hearts around.
