August 2025 - Challenge #2 Dog Days of Summer!

 Hello! It's time for our 2nd challenge of the month. Let's take a quick peek at our inspiration kit:

 August is commonly known as "dog days" of summer, which refers to the hottest, most humid period of summer. Keeping this in mind,your challenge for today is to create a layout featuring pets, summer fun or a lazy day. Let's see what our Master Forgers have come up with for this challenge.

I am scrapbooking a photo of my daughter with her friends on a trip with friends.  They were playing in the pool.  I used my kit-mostly the papers that were from the Inspiration Kit.  I flipped over the red gingham and fussy cut five flowers from that side.  From the blue plaid I flipped it over and fussy cut out a label for my journaling.  The yellow sun was cut with my Cameo out of another paper from my kit.  I added some mixed media onto my white cardstock to add some more color.

I'm using page set #2 from my August CKC - The Country Kit.  I have a couple of photos I need to scrap for myself and my youngest of Ms. Izzy and her last Halloween Costumes. We would always dress her at Halloween. She loved greeting the kids at the door when we handed out candy.
