February 2026 Forgeries on the Fourth

Welcome back! Today is the 4th which means our Master Forgers show you what you can create to add to your kit for backgrounds, embellishments and more!

Master Forger Misty
Misty set out to create two sheets of pattern paper she loved but couldn't represent with her existing stash. First up, the black striped paper from the Simple Stories collection.

Second, she just HAD to have the paintbrush paper from Vicki Boutin.

There is a tutorial on her YouTube channel on how she created both of these.

Master Forager Amanda

I was just as inspired as Misty to create that paintbrush paper! I have a die set that I used with my 49&Market inks, with a more primary color scheme, lots of water for the packaging technique and some water spray for some runs!  Process is here.

If you choose to re-create the paintbrush paper too -- or anything else from the kit - we would love to see your forgeries -- make sure you come share them on the Facebook Group!

We have a full month of inspiration and challenges.  See you back here on the 6th for Mini Kit inspiration!
