Let's start off with a reminder of our inspiration kit this month...
"Grateful" by Miss Kate Designs
If you are new here or just looking for a new perspective on how to build your kit, this is the day for you! There's so many ways to build your stash kit, it's all about what works for you and your own process!
For me, I am mostly drawn to colors and theme when pulling a kit together. I knew this month I wanted to stick with the earth-tone and Thanksgiving theme, so I went to my Fall themed papers and pulled from there! I didn't focus so much on the specific patterns in the kit, but rather the overall feel the kit gave me.
I am really hoping I can think of something to do with that large wreath with the quote in the center of it! So pretty!
Next, I went to my fall embellishments bin, which is where I keep everything from 6x6 paper pads to ephemera, flair & more! I noticed that two collections in particular seemed to complement this one, Harvest by Carta Bella and Cider & Donuts from Simple Stories. I pulled quite a bit of both those lines and filled in with other goodies as I went.
Lots more scrappy fun to come this month!
