You can stamp an image on burlap, as demonstrated here...Stamping on burlap tutorial
OR
You can stamp a texture WITH burlap. Simply wrap a piece of burlap tightly around a kitchen sponge, lightly dip it in acrylic paint, and stamp onto your paper for a great, unique texture. (Idea taken from The Stamp Artist's Project Book by Sharilyn Miller)

Have you ever used double sided ribbon and tried to tie a knot so that only ONE side shows? I know I have had this problem before...I have found a You tube tutorial for a solution to this problem!!! Tying a knot with double sided ribbon, so only one side shows!

ReplyDeleteOMG!!! I was thinking about how to make the crocheted rick rack!!! I love to crochet and had never seen this technique before...it was a little before my time (HAHA). Thanks for that link.
