Introducing our guest designer for August 2011...Julie Ann Shahin!

"Hello friends! I'm Julie Ann Shahin (JA for short is good). I'm a 40 year-old housewife who adores her bichon frise doggie and also flea market shopping. I do scrapbook (paper, hybrid and digital), art journal, mixed media, a bit of sewing, felting, and altered arts. I've been married for seven years to my musician husband David Shahin.  I help write the blog for Studio Tangie on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I am also on the Say It With Letters team."

Julie Ann's Scrapbooking Resume:  "Julie Ann Shahin is a published freelance scrapbook artist, author/editor of The Scrapbook Dimensions Week-At-A-Glance Planner, and founder of The Everyday Digital Scrapbooking Idea blog.  Julie Ann Shahin has worked as Creative Editor, Speecial Projects Director, and Admin of the Social Network for Scrapbook Dimensions magazine.  She has been published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, Paper Trends, {former} Scrapbook Answers, Digital Scrapbooking, Digital Artist Mag, Creative TECHniques, ScrapStreet and GingerScrapStreet Magazine as well as books and international publications. Her projects have appeared on air on QVC as well as at industry trade shows such as CHA and Memory Trends."

Julie Ann's thoughts on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge:  "I love the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog because I have always thought about buying a kit now and then, and rarely been able to budget it in, especially when I am so blessed to have such a huge stash of supplies. I also never seem to be able to hit that "buy" button either because kits are never quite exactly what I want, so the CKC allows me the freedom and creativity to make the kit exactly my dream kit!"
