Here are some of the examples I found for Counterfeit Kit storage...
Our Guest Desinger this month stores hers like this
Brenda's Kit Storage |
I keep mine in the clear plastic 12x12 storage envelopes (I get them a the Dollar Tree, or at Michael's when they are on sale). When I run ou of those, I use 2 gallon Zip Lock storage bags (which I also find at my Dollar Tree or Wal Mart) Then I keep all of my envelopes in a storage bin.
Lisa keeps hers in pizza boxes that are larger than 12"x12"---great idea!!!
Studio Calico has some great options pictured on their blog, including Iris Cases and a stacking drawer system.
I vary my storage according to how dimensional the embellies are - old pizza boxes (the ones that on-line supplies come in rather than the ones that my 4 seasons pizza came in!) are great as you can store a lot in them. If the kits is mostly paper with a few ribbons & journalling spots then a 12x12 zip-lock bag is OK but a plastic 12x12 paper storage box is better for taking to crops.
ReplyDeletemy pile of boxes is getting a bit out of control at the moment - i plan to work through some of them this month while I am LOADing ;-) the good thing about the boxes is that they stack really easily and it's all about the recyling ;-) but I'm heading over to SC to see what you have linked there. (always open to new ideas!)
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of a 2 gal zip lock storage bag. I'll have to see if I can find them at my Dollar Tree.
