Ready to jump on in? Let's get started with a great Pod Cast from Paperclipping.com! Listen along as you work on this great project!
Now let's get started with a banner project. I will admit it. I LOVE banners! I make them for every conceivable season, theme, holiday and birthday. You can usually find one on my fireplace and there is even one hanging in my daughter's room. Yep. Love 'em!
Banners are SO easy to make and put together. Any thing goes, really! I have made them in a variety of shapes, with letters (to spell out words), without letters, 3-d images, using tulle, string...
Here are a few that I have made.
Are you ready to make your own banner? Here is a simple tutorial to get you started.
So let's Color Your World:
Make a banner
Use at least 5 colors
Add a mixture of words (or letters to spell a word) and graphics (pictures, die cuts...)

ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my garland. I didn't want to put any letters on it yet as I haven't decided what I want to use it for yet. I want to come up with a way of using it over and over again for different occasions. Thanks for the colour challenge and the inspiration and the simple tutorial link. So much fun.
Totally love blues and greens..... with a touch of either orange, red or yellow to pop it!!!

I just adore teal and aqua...it is just so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteI love blue and green and any combination of the two.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun!!
I love black, white and lime best.
ReplyDeleteI think it depends on my mood, but white and hot pink looks clean and crisp and, since my last layout had a shoot of bright orange in it I'll say white, hot pink and orange right now.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite and 'go to' colour scheme is rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet - and they tend to be on the page in that order.
ReplyDeleteI love nature colours: greens and browns with warm greys
ReplyDeleteI like any strong colour with white and a pop of black - but if I had to choose one two-colour combo it would be pink and green because those were our wedding colours
ReplyDeleteThank you to the Washi Shop - you can never have to much Washi! :o)
