Susanne: I heard about the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog from a friend’s blog – Sian @ From High in The Sky. I played along that very first month, and was lucky enough to join the design team early on as well.
Bethany: What inspires you to scrapbook?
Susanne: Old photos, new photos, old product, new product – not necessarily in that order, and of course, combining them in endless variety.
Bethany: Give a shout out to your personal favorite kit club company!
Susanne: My tastes are fickle, so I have tried out many kit clubs, usually for short period of time.
Currently, I have a crush on Gossamer Blue.
Bethany: Do you have a favorite supply or technique?
Susanne: I have a passion for good quality patterned paper – because I love to mix colors and patterns. Anything else is just icing on this very delicious cake! And I do love cupcakes too – that translates to 3 x 4 and 4 x 6 pocket page cards with pretty patterns and clever quotes.
Bethany: Other than paper crafts, what other crafty or creative things do you like to do?
Susanne: To be honest I spend so much time on scrapbooking and cards that I don’t do anything else crafty. I keep telling myself I will pick cross-stitch up again after a 20 year abstinence from that. I’m not listening though.
Bethany: Time to dish! What is something that our readers would never in a million years guess about you?
Susanne: I can watch the same movie over and over again for months at a time. Notable examples include Dirty Dancing back in the late 1980’s and The Bourne Legacy in the last couple of years. I will leave you to speculate on what the common appeal is of those two movies.
Bethany: How did you hear about Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog? How long have you been playing along with us?
Margie: I saw Meridy's first post about the idea of it on two peas before you guys started it, and I thought it was such a great idea!
Bethany: What inspires you to scrapbook?
Margie: I don't want my photos and memories to disappear into the ether.
Bethany: Give a shout out to your personal favorite kit club company!
Margie: Oh, there are so many! Cocoa Daisy is probably my top favorite for papers and overall look-plus the exclusive stamps. I have thought about joining Ali Edwards Story Stamp kit club, and Scraptastic is another favorite, because I love their designers' pages, especially.
Bethany: Do you have a favorite supply or technique?
Margie: Favorite supply is always paper, and lately I have really enjoyed trying out artsy techniques with paint, mist, ink, and die cutting.
Bethany: Other than paper crafts, what other crafty or creative things do you like to do?
Margie: Photography-beautiful photos excite me! I love all sorts of creative things-home decor (DIY and Pinterest=love), baking, painting, and sketching.
Bethany: Time to dish! What is something that our readers would never in a million years guess about you?
Margie: I don't know? I feel like I am a pretty much open book-especially on my blog.
