March 2017 Counterfeit Kit Reveal

Happy March! This month, we are taking our inspiration from the very popular Hip Kit club kits. When searching for an inspiration kit this month, I wanted to find a kit that had lots of yummy new products from CHA in it (so that you would either use your new purchases, or perhaps not feel the need to buy anything, since you may be able to find enough in your stash that is similar). I also wanted to find a kit that had several opportunities for forgeries, and inspiration for our mini kit makers, as well. The February kits from the Hip Kit club seemed to fit the bill perfectly!

Hi, I'm Raelene.  I am married and we have 4 children aged 10 to 21, I am Grandma to  a gorgeous 3 month old little girl.   We live in Queensland Australia and are currently melting in a heatwave.

I started scrapbooking in 2005 when I discovered the storage I was using had damaged precious photos so I started with a focus on preservation.  I love all styles of scrapbooking from quick and  simple layouts to mixed media.

I occassionally do pocket scrapping, card making and off the page projects.

I have started keeping a simple daily journal and this has really helped with my scrapbooking, I no longer feel like i am falling further behind and I am  instead enjoying just creating layouts.
I scrap our life including the kids and my grandaughter, our pets and our home, basically I scrap what I am in the mood to scrap but my journal I record our daily life with mini photos and minimal if no decorating.

I have encouraged all my children to record their memories and it is nice to have my 21yr  continue to join me in my love of all things paper.
