June 2018 - Challenge #1 - A little bird told me!

American Crafts - AT Sunshine & Good Times - Tweet Tweet Paper

One of the papers in the kit features a selection of cute, colourful, rather sweet birds which got me thinking. Be inspired by a story told to you by a third party (aka "a little bird told me") for your project.

Alice's layout has a sweet story about a surprise award for her son that she heard about before the event from her son's coach.

You can find out more about her layout over on her blog here.

Find Alice's layout at her blog Scrapbook Wonderland!

Julene : I chose a twist on this theme and used my sense of humour. A friend told me there were lots of interesting sculptures in Melbourne's alleys and to seek them out.

My layout says "A little birdy told me people in Melbourne ride up walls."

I've used wood veneer bicycles inked and several alphas.

Lisa : I scrapped some photos from just a few days ago which felt really good! I might have twisted the rules a hint by adding in a few items from my stash and interpreting the little bird in a looser way but I hope you'll forgive me! And yes, still Bowie obsessed round here. Can't help it!

I've some some more details and close ups on my blog here.

We love seeing your work, so be sure to share your kits and projects with us. You can do this by using the Link-Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group or on Instagram (find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge )
