November 2018 - Challenge #1 - Sprinkle and Sparkle!

Challenge # 1 - Sprinkle and Sparkle!

November is my birthday month and there's always a sprinkle of shimmer, confetti, sequins or glitter to be seen.  Make sure you make your own project shine this celebratory month by adding some extra sparkle!

Let's see what your talented Master Forgers and the delightful Alex, who is our Guest Designer this month, has in store for us.

Alex has really gone to town with her super cute layout which makes me very happy!

"Bling.  Glitter.  Sparkle. When Lisa said she wanted a project heavy with these, I was thrilled.  I LOVE glitter. So while my layout isn't encrusted with glitter (unfortunately) I think I filled the brief. We do have gems and gold mist and filled shaker embellies and the layout itself is about bling.

Come on over and see how I made those shakers and all the rest of the (mis)adventures of Pink Crafty scrapbooking here!"

Find out more of the details over on her blog here

Julene has made this "Bella" layout using an older sketch from Page Maps. She has added flourishes as her glitter, plus some gold washi tape.

Cindy has made a layout using glitter paper and a card.

Lori has used silver glitter paper to give her layout that extra sparkle. You can read more about it on her blog here.

Don't forget that there's still more to expect as November goes on so don't miss any of it!

  1. Very interesting! Every master forger interpreted this challenge differently either through product, usage amount, and/or technique! Even GD Alex used sequins in shaker pockets and later added on jewel gems for more shine! You couldn't ask for more variety in a challenge!!! Terrific inspirations!!!!
