Hello, everyone! Lori here today to share a couple of quick and easy tips to make your own gift tags this holiday season using your scrappy supplies. I know time is something we all don't have a lot of during the holiday season so I will keep this post short and sweet and hopefully you'll come away with a couple of ideas to make your own gift tags.

First, I gathered up a few supplies to work with:
some stamps, stickers, pre-made die cuts, washi tape, paper, and a few tools.

I set a timer for 30 minutes and went to work. I grabbed the pre-made die cuts first and with just a bit of simple To/From stamping on the back and some string added to the top - these guys were done!

Next, I added some washi tape strips to a paper that I had sent through the printer, die cut a few circles from it and matted with a piece of Christmas paper.

For the rest of the tags, I added some Santa stickers, gold metallic stars, and a stamped tree. In just 30 minutes I had a good assortment of tags ready to be added to holiday gifts.

I hope this gives you a few ideas to use your scrappy supplies to make some gift tags this holiday season.

We hope you will continue to share your own crafty creations and ideas throughout December using the:  Link-Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Groupor on Instagram (find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge )

  1. Wow those are really nice; love the variety! I just buy my tags at the "After Christmas" sale every year... the decorative sticky label kind.

  3. Wonderful variety of gift tags, Lori!!! What I tend to do with about half of my Christmas card-making in the past few years is to use store-bought tags that have a design side to become the card focals. Speeds up the process for me treating them as die-cuts.

  4. These are adorable, I have been setting aside Christmas die-cuts that I knew I would not use on layouts, thinking I may make them tags as well. It is good to use all the stash!
