Hi everyone! Cindy here to share with you how I like to make cards. I'm sharing a Christmas card, the inside and envelope with you today.
Season's Greetings
I like stamping on anything I possibly can. So today we are stamping and fussy cutting the image. It's a great way to make an embellishment!
Using fussy-cutting.
Hi everyone! Cindy here to share a Christmas card with you.
I started by stamping my image onto a scrap of white cardstock with my Misti. I knew I wanted to color in my image with markers and I wanted to be able to stamp the image again after coloring. I made sure to line it the paper up on two sides of the Misti. Here's a quick tip - I like to write how the cardstock goes back in the Misti. I've messed up my fair share of images telling my self that I would remember. If your paper is die cut you can always write on the back of it.
After coloring the image in I put it back into the Misti and stamped it again. I wasn't worried about the berries and branches on the sides of the Poinsettia as I was going to cut them off.

Once I've fussy cut the image I used a black marker outlining the image to get rid of any white cardstock that is showing.
I added a bit of blue banner under the Poinsettia and a scrap of Christmas paper that is torn on the side to finish my card front. I like to finish the inside of my cards with a white cardstock mat and a piece of the pattern paper from the outside.
