February 2020 - Challenge #1 - Floral Matriarchy

The patterns and colours in this kit made me immediately think of my great grandmother, who always wore small dark floral dresses.
I’ve added some Liberty floral prints to the Pinterest page to maybe inspire you.

Your challenge is to scrap a page about a matriarch, past or present, in your family using a floral paper/theme.

Here's what our Guest Designer Kate and the Master Forgers have created for us.

Our Guest Designer Kate has scrapped a photo of her Aunt and Uncle.
I love all that floral gorgeousness and the big butterfly.

Master Forger Tara created a page about her maternal grandmother on her Sweet 16 birthday.

Master Forger Julene has scrapped a photo of her Great Grandmother, Louisa.
Note that the floral paper almost matches exactly the floral dress.

Master Forger Tina
really had to do some looking to get a picture of my Grandmother. The matriarch in our family that she remembers.

Master Forger Tracey had to dig deep to find a matriarch photo of her Grandmother and she was suprised to actually find one which had her Great Grandmother on it too.

Just a reminder that we'll be back throughout the month to give you some tips, ideas and challenges as you put together and use your kit.

Here's what we have coming up this month:

  • February 18th:  Challenge #2 will give you another chance to get crafty wth your kit!
  • February 24th:  I'll be showcasing one of the CKC community who's caught my eye this month
  • February 28th: We'll be offering another installment in our {Killing Kits} series to help you find ways to use up all of your kit.
We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us.

You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcfebruary2020).
