July 2020 - Challenge #2 'Back Yard Adventures'

Hey Counterfeiters, are you ready for another challenge? This time around, we'd like you to be inspired by 'Back Yard Adventures.'

You can choose to take this literally, and scrapbook about the 'adventures' you have had in your own back yards; or you can take it a little more loosely and talk about the local adventures that you've in your local area. While we're not able to travel as widely as we normally can, it's nice to focus on the fun to be found closer to home!

Shall we see how our Master Forgers and GDT, Jess Claire, choose to work with the challenge?

Jess Claire delved into her kit to create this 6x8 little lovely, that makes the most of the modern feel of her kit contents and really shows off the extra colour that she chose to add to her kit this month. Doesn't that blue just pop?

Master Forger, Leslie decided to scrap a trifecta: Challenge #1, Challenge #2 and a sketch challenge from A Cherry on Top! Talk about high achieving! See more details on Leslie's Blog.

Master Forger Tara chose to scrapbook a beautiful photo of her youngest daughter taken in their backyard in 2012.  She added some messy mixed media to the background sheet which was in her main kit and added a piece of her favorite piece of patterned paper from her Color Add-On kit.

You can see more details of this layout as well as a second layout that Tara completed over at her blog.

Master Forger Tracey picked an old photo of her and her older brother playing in the backyard as kids. One of only a few photos from her childhood that she treasures. She stuck with the black, white and kraft colours from her kit with just the smallest touches of pink as accents.

Master Forger Tina using very current photos of the new adventures in her back yard. Using parts of her kit Playing in the Dirt with pops of blue using her last month kit to capture the backporch work to extend it out the 1st steps before adding the roof. For more details about the layout you can check it out over on her blog

Master Forger Laura's layout has lots of beautiful color as well as amazing photos from the little critters she finds in her backyard!!!

Here's what we have coming up for the rest of the month:
