November 2022 - Just The Gist of It

 Welcome back to our Just The Gist of It post where we hope to offer you a possible starting point for creating your kit. 

Sometimes, we just don't know where to start or there is something about the kit that doesn't feel like us, but we still want to bring a selection of items together to form your own monthly kit. This is the post for you! Hopefully, you will find some inspiration to get you going.

I've talked before about the different ways I approach a kit - looking at colours, a standout piece, motifs or patterns - and one of the things that jumped out at me this month with our inspiration kit was CIRCLES!

Let's have a closer look:

There are papers which predominantly feature circles such as Pinkfresh Studio - Life Right Now - Slow Days

Maggie Holmes - Market Square - Up & Away

Both sides of Paige Evans - Wonders - Paper 24 & Paper 6

There are the Cocoa Vanilla Studio - These Days wooden buttons

And there are several circular pieces in the Pinkfresh Studio - Life Right Now - Ephemera Pack

If you don't where to begin with your kit this time around, find one piece of paper or a pack of embellishments that heavily feature circles and start there! You might be surprised how easily your kit comes together.

• 24th November: Follower Showcase - who has caught our eye this month 
• 30th November: Killing Kits - an idea or two for using up the bits & pieces left in your kit box
