October 2023 - Challenge #2 - Notable Quotables!

Choose a quote for your title (feel free to use this one!)

It could be a line from a book or movie, a lovely bit of a favorite poem, lyric from a song, a Bible verse, a funny saying from your child, a family phrase that is used often.

Stumped? Try this site:  Quotations by Subject to start telling your story.

Master Forger Christine used a quote by Cesare Pavese. Check out how she used a pre-made word as part of it!

Master Forger Tara used a quote by Blanca Sparacino for her layout of her daughter's Anniversary Photos taken this past September. She used tiny letters for most of the quote but the final word, she used her burlap Thickers.  There is a process video available on her YouTube channel here.  It's a combined video for CKCB Challenge 2 and Day 18 of 30 Days of Sketches.

Master Forger Cindy used a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson for her double page layout.

Blog post here.

Master Forger Misty took a photo of her letter board that has a quote mash-up—So her title is her photo! Her journaling talks about how she landed on this quote and doesn't ever want to change it now, LOL.

Aren't these wonderful? We have such a great team.

Here is what the rest of October will look like - don't miss a thing!

  • 24th October - Follower's Showcase - who has caught our eye this month.
  • 31st October - Killing the Kit - focusing on using up the bits and pieces left in your kit.

You know that we always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can post them in our Facebook Community or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcoctober2023).

Thanks for stopping by!
