November 2017 - Counterfeit Kit reveal

Welcome, welcome! Lisa here and I'm thrilled to see you here today, helping me to welcome in my favourite month of the year!

This month, I wanted to give us an inspiration kit that reminded me of autumn but had other, brighter colours to make it versatile enough for the counterfeit kits to be for whatever type of pages you might be making!

I selected the "Emerson" kit by Citrus Twist from November 2016. You can find the details of the kit on their site here as well as several add on kits. You'll need to go down towards the bottom of the page as the link only goes to the main kit preview page but they are there if you look for them!

I think it's got everything I was looking for - a hint of autumn colour but there's still some seriously gorgeous splashes of brighter, unexpected colour too. It's not Christmassy but there's some sparkle to brighten up the darker days and it could be translated into something a little more festive if you wanted.

I hope you like it as much as me :-)

In November, I'm also delighted to welcome Anne to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge as our Guest Designer. You can find her online at her blog http://bunterpinguin.blogspot.de. I'll let Anne introduce herself:

Hello,
My name is Anne. I'm super excited to be this month's Guest Designer here. I'm a 29-year-old student and mum of two girls. I live in a beautiful town in Germany with my family.

I've been a scrapper since 2011. I started with recipes but after the birth of my first daughter I've mostly documented our family life. I love the creative process, the flow of creating and that I can calm down and refresh my soul while I'm scrapping.

I'm passionate with stash kits because they're full of inspiration and a special freshness. My self-made kits always surprise and challenge me. I love that I often find new ways to combine my older bits and pieces, different manufacterers or the left-overs from collections and do something recent in my current style. And to use something up is a special challenge to me: it's such a motivational feeling to end up with a blank sheet of something and know your money is well spend.

So, let's start the month with a new kit full of pretty things from your stash.

Now, let's get hopping shall we? It's a bit larger than usual because we wanted to give you oodles of inspiration as it's the last standard inspiration kit of the year (back with a new one in the new year!) and several of us wanted to make a full kit even if we weren't scheduled to!

Not able to make a full kit this month? No worries! Check back here on 6th November for some mini kit inspiration. You'll also want to mark your calendar for Forgeries on the Fourth (4th November), Challenge #1 (12th November) and Challenge #2 (18th November).

We love seeing your work, so be sure to share your kits and projects with us. You can do this by using the Link-Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group or on Instagram (find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge )

Have a wonderful, creative month & thanks again for stopping by! Let's make this month fantastic!
