A reminder of the inspiration kit:
Hip Kit Club May Main Kit |
A pretty color palette with pops of bright navy, mustard, pink & playful breezy elements. More bows to forge (see April's FOF post HERE) plus there are 4 more kits to choose from: embellishments, paper, Project Life & mixed media. Let's explore the counterfeiting skills of our team.
Guest Designer Kathy has created some vonderful forged embellishments! Head on over to her YouTube channel here and check out her creative counterfeiting.
Master Forger Leslie built her entire kit of forgeries! Be sure to check out her blog post for details.

Julene has used an old rubber star stamp from her teaching days to create the black and white star paper and a zig writing pen to make the dotted paper freestyle.
She also altered 2 journaling cards using the star stamp.
The round one is a beer coaster.
Master Forger Lori used fun foam, patterned paper, and heart dies to create her version of the foam backed glitter hearts that can be found in the May 2019 Hip Kit Club Pocket Life Scrapbook kit and she used a plus sign stamp to create her version of the rainbow-colored plus sign paper in the inspiration kit. You can read all about it on her blog here.
Lisa posted a quick and easy tutorial about making up paper bows back in April (link to FOF post here). She used paper but you could easily create a fabric version of your own using stiffened fabric (use iron on stiffener or even starch spray with the iron) and then cut out the shapes - use this link here for a free downloadable bow shape if you need it - Ash and Crafts ) and then mix and match your patterns in the same was as the Hip Kit Club exclusives.
Don't forget that we love to see your kits and projects! Post through our Link-Up page, share them in our Facebook Community,
or post them on Instagram (tag us: @counterfeitkitchallenge and use
#counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjune2019). Come back on the 6th for some mini-kit reveals, and the 12th & 18th for challenges to help you use up your
personally crafted kit. See you then!
All great ideas ladies. I must try those bows!
