The month is slowing down now and May is already in view which means that it's time for a firm favourite in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge monthly blog calendar - the Follower Showcase!
There have been some fabulous kits and layouts this month but Antonia really caught my eye with her gorgeous kit full of Paige Evans items as well as a bunch of layouts that capture a lovely day out in a beautiful part of the UK.
Let's have a look at her kit first of all. It's full of Paige Evans papers as she said that she wanted to use up as much of her PE stash as possible before the new collection stash arrived.
I love the mix of papers and patterns she's picked out.
Then there's this scrumptious mix of embellishments which I'd love to dive into. There's some I recognise and some that I wish I had in my own stash! She also featured some scraps and left overs. It looked like a great kit to use and I was a bit envious of it to be honest ;-)
She even had a go at making some of her own elements for the kit including this lovely background that she made using a self-misted piece of cardstock which she then die-cut into this gorgeous floral pattern. She intended to use both the positive and negative parts of the design which is also such a great idea! I think I need to ask her how she managed to get the negative transferred onto the background paper.
With such a great kit, it's not surprising that she created such beautiful pages. She was inspired by some scrap-lift challenges over on another FB group and enjoyed the cohesion her kit gave her across a set of pages which tell the story of a family day out. I love them! And I love to hear about how kits help the creative process of making pages too and how multiple challenges can be brought together for the win.
You can find more details over in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge community where she has more photos of her kit and layouts.
Go and give Antonia some love - you know she deserves it!
