October 2021 - Challenge #1 - Title It!

It is October the 12th, that can only mean one thing... it's time for Challenge #1 here at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge and I'm excited to see how you interpret it.

As a reminder, Master Forger Tracey chose the May 2021 Hip Kit Club kit as our inspiration for this month.

The first challenge of the month is something a little different...... we want to challenge you to create a layout with your kit and a title of our choice! Simply pick a title from this list and use it as your inspiration:

* You've Come so Far

* Ordinary Moments

A great title on your layout can help to make a story great or it can tell a story on it's own.

Guest Designer

Our Guest Designer for October is the lovely Machelle Willing, she picked the title :

Machelle said: I had the perfect pictures to go with the title "Ordinary Moments" and used some of the brighter papers in my kit. I am really pleased with how it turned out!

Which was the perfect choice for her layout :

One of the main reasons that Tracey picked the kit of the month is because of the colourful world map pattern paper, so she just had to use it on her first challenge layout. From the moment she saw this paper she knew she was scrapping a whole heap of travel photos from 2018, when was on HMAS Success.

Master Forger Julene

I had this For the record paper from Echo park with coloured lace stripes.

It is the perfect background for my theme and photos.

Master Forger Misty chose the same title as guest designer Machelle, Ordinary Moments, since that is the subject she scraps most often!

Master Forger Tina chose Spring Has Sprung for her layout title as the kit she pulled together reminded her of Spring and the Spring flowers for her pictures also helped with the Title selection
