October 2021 - Killing that Kit!!

Wow what a month it has been, Master Forger Tracey has loved hosting this month and as a final farewell for the month is going to show you how she has killed her kit. But before we do we need to take one final look at the Hip Kit Club that was the inspiration and bask in all it's wonderful glory! what a lovely kit and what great inspiration it has inspired this month for everyone.

Here are some ideas that Tracey has for using up some of those pieces of pattern paper scraps that are left from her kit.
Cut them into 3 cm strip.
Then cut a "V" into the smaller edges, then layer across your page and create a photo mat area. It doesn't matter if your strips are smaller as you can cut them in halves and leave a blank area in the middle where the photo will be adhered.

Here is the final layout, with some of the hearts that Tracey created in the Forgery on the Fourth blog post.
Tracey had another idea on how to use the product stripping from the bottom of the patterned paper. They usually have a lovely pattern on one side and the product information on the other. Simply cut them from the paper and save until you have a few different ones.
Then cut them into random smaller pieces and adhere them across the page to form a stripey boarder. It can be used horizontal or vertical, it loos great both ways.
Tracey decided on the horizontal and created this lovely layout with it. Simple, effective and using every last piece of paper from the kit.

Another way to use up you kit is to join in with the monthly challenges here on the Counterfeit Kit Club or with other challenges on the internet. Which Tracey has done this month....

Counterfeit Kit Club Challenge One

Counterfeit Kit Club Challenge Two

White With 1 Challenge.

Archi-scraps Challenges

There are many more scrapbooking or card challenges that can be found on the internet, if you need assistance finding some just leave a comment and we will get back to you. Challenges are such a great way to Kill your Kit.

Thanks for participating this month and how exciting is it that it is the end of the month and our next Blog Hop reveal is just one sleep away!!

Hugs
Tracey
