July 2022 - Challenge #2 - Day Tripper

September the 18th and it's time for Challenge #2 round here at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge and I'm excited to see how you interpret it.

As a reminder, Master Forger Tina chose the May 2022 kit called "May 2022 ROUND TRIP 12 x 12 Add-On Kit" by Citrus Twist kit club as our inspiration for this month.

  Day Tripper 

Another Beatles song! Day trips are part of vacations too, Day In Your Life of your Trip is the challenge here for this 2nd challenge. A layout featuring a few aspects of your day from a trip you took, I love to add these to my trips as a fun break in the album.

Day In Your Life of Your Trip

Master Forger Tara created this layout of a day trip that she took while her sister was visiting from Texas last fall!  It was a great way to begin documenting a day filled with gorgeous views and wine! You can check out what she has to say about her layout here. 

Master Forger Juliet had to dig deep as she doesn't get the chance to travel much but she found a picture from when she DID get to go to Cancun with her hubby on their 'honeymoon' about 30 years after they were married!  LOL...her son 'won' the trip and he passed it on to them. What a great son!  Anyway, she used her one 'map' paper she put in her kit and then pulled out a stencil and her oxide ink and went to town.  This covered up the fact that it was a map not of Cancun and made it work!  This was on the beautiful Isla Mujeres when they went on an excursion for a day.

Master Forger Cindy is documenting a day trip to Sea Quest with her grandson. We took him to the Aquarium before dropping him off at his parents. It was so fun. He could have spent way more time watching the fishes. She backed a fish background for the layout. Fish photos are always so hard to take!

Master Forger Leslie documented an entire day's fun with lots of ephemera in a Project Life-style without pockets!
