For challenge number two I want to think about the second theme in our inspiration kit, which was birthday. Birthdays are about celebration. But... there are so many things we all celebrate.
So, my prompt is to tell ANY celebration story.
Master Forger Anna has this to say about her layout:
"So funny story, I didn't think I would be scrapping many birthday photos this month and yet so far ALL the photos I've pulled have been of my son's birthday so this was the PERFECT challenge to get me out of the Birthday party mindset! I used one of the Scraplift Sunday layouts from Paper Issues as my jumping off point because I'm also playing BINGO this month and I wanted to stamp one of the squares on my card! I love how this layout turned out. I used up the ENTIRE sheet of enamel dots! Go me! This page celebrates that my son and I FINISHED the Galveston Sandcrab Kid's 1K and Adult 5K (maybe I shouldn't have run the 1K before the 5K). It was our first time doing an event like that and just finishing felt like a HUGE accomplishment, definitely worth celebrating!"

Master Forger Tara is telling a story about the celebration of 31 years of marriage a few weeks ago! She had included that sunburst patterned paper in her kit and really wanted to use that paper and do some hand stitching for this layout!
Master Forger Leslie was celebrating the first sign of sunshine in the new year! We average 4 days in January, so they are precious. I’m working on my first memory planner for 2023 but printer issues are keeping me from making much progress...
Master Forger Cindy - created a double page layout for the Challenge. We were Celbrating Doug's Birhday. Since I scrap him in 8 1/2 by 11 I still have a couple more pages to do for this set. On those pages I will be including the journaling.
MF Lisa here! I feel like I haven't been doing much creating recently, so I grabbed my kit and just played around making the base of the layout before deciding exactly what type of celebration I was going for! I went for another tried and trusted design with the banner of tags forming the central part and a border of distressed layered strips. I fussy-cut the whole sheet of Simple Stories floral paper into flower clusters and then had fun popping them among my layers.
Once all that was done, I decided it was a perfect summer layout to celebrate friendship. The selection of photos and a small amount of journalling along with a sprinkle of enamels and the layout was finished off in a jiffy.
Also something to celebrate!
