We love to see what our members are up to with their kits and projects each month. There are always so many great ideas and shares posted in our Facebook Community. We like to spotlight one member who has really caught our attention each month.
This time around Lisa Marie caught my attention. I loved her use of pattern, shape, texture and color. And the subjects of her projects were just too cute. I was happy she agreed to share her projects with us in our group and allowed me to post them here on the blog.
Here is what Lisa had to say about her work and about joining us for the Counterfeit Kit challenge.
"I play along with the challenge for several reasons- I love to see how other people interpret the inspiration kit, I have way too many supplies and I don’t like using just one collection together. I’m a mix and match kind of girl who loves lots of pattern."
With that, here is what her kit looked like this month.
Now, let's checkout what she did with her kit.
Lisa wanted to note that these layouts were inspired by
- A scraplift of SJ luvscrappin who posts on scrapbook.com
- An April 2023 sketch from Pagemaps (rotated)
- Another scraplift of Kathylovestoscrap on Scrapbook.com.
It is fantastic that she uses so many resources, from inspiration here at CKCB as well as work from around the web, to combine with her existing stash to get her stories told. Thanks again Lisa! Be sure to go give her some love over on the Facebook Community.
We are almost to the finish line for April. Here is the last inspiration item on our schedule before we wrap up.
- April 30th: KILLING THE KIT
Also, the sneak peek for May will be posted soon! We've got a different style for you to be inspired by next time so stay tuned!
You know that we always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can post them in our Facebook Community or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcapril2023).
