Rather than a Killing The Kit post that we have done for many years, we are now going to challenge YOU, our dear friends, to use the SCRAPS that you have in your kit as you have created layouts this month!

You don’t need a lot of paper to create a layout. The only full sheet I used was a white piece of cardstock for my base. When you first look at my layout you may think the layers are much larger pieces of paper. Not so. The scraps I used are very small. Some are actually just slivers, no more than an inch wide. Border strips are perfect for this. Don’t throw out your scraps, use them to create some beautiful layouts.

I love using scraps on a layout as it makes for a quick layout, finding creative ways to add to the layout I used stenciling for some extra pattern to the layout too.
