We have such a fun group!

Where can you find a fun, talented, encouraging group of ladies who rock our scrapbook challenges?  RIGHT HERE, of course!  Our Master Forger Design Team is an awesome group!  I love chatting with them and hearing their reasons for not finishing their projects on time.  Oops.  Was that out loud?  LOL  Really, they are a great group!

Our Design Team is headed by the engergizer bunny of scrappers, Crystal.  Honestly, I don't know how she does it all!  She is our biggest cheerleaders, so she was a natural pick for coordinating some more personal Design Team projects.  Crystal keep us all chatting and comes up with some fun swaps/challenges for us to do together in between challenges.

Her latest brain storm was a VIRTUAL SWAP.  Basically, it went like this:  E-mail a list of products to a partner (or even pictures).  They must choose a certain number of those things to use on a layout.  If they don't have that particular product, they must re-create it the best they can.  Margie, Milissa, Rebecca, Susanne, Libeeti, and Lisa partnered up to take on this challenge!  I am excited to share it with you!  Make sure you head over to each blog for more information about the lists they had to work with!

Here are their finished layouts...you need to head over to their blogs for more of an explanation and their actual lists.

**Milissa had so much fun that she did TWO layouts, one from her partner's list and one from the list she made up from her partner.  :)

Sherri's Card Kit!

Our lovely guest designer Sherri has created a card kit for us this month to go along with the main kit!

I love her explanation of it:
"
As I started to pull items for my card kit, I noticed that it was starting to look a lot like my main kit for the month, so decided to try a different approach. I wrote down the general list of patterned papers and embellies and didn't look at the inspiration kit as I pulled my stuff.
My list for papers had things like "all-over floral paper", "chevron", "masculine print paper", and "woodgrain". My list for embellies included things like "textured embellies" (I substituted the felt for the wood), "1 dimensional flower", and "vintage book page". I substituted the sewing pattern paper for the book page to keep the vintage feel but still work with the other items in my kit.
I added some extra stamps to that I would have a variety of sentiments. I also substituted a set of border stamps for the washi tape-I can still make borders, but now they will coordinate with the other items in my kit."

And here is her kit and some sketches to work with as well!

Head on over to Sherri's Blog to see the uber awesome cards she has created with this kit, too!  Sigh.  I sure miss her.

Master Forger Hero Challenge

Sharing a hero can be a very personal thing and our Master Forgers have done it beautifully.

Challenge #3: Hero Challenge

Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Wonderwoman...we grow up with larger than life ideals of what constitutes a hero.  And then we get older and realize that being a hero is not a cape wearing, cool car driving adventure like we thought.  Being a hero is in the little things.  Selflessly putting other first and giving of your self even when it is hard.  A hero can be serving our country, comforting the sick and dying, chasing criminals or faithfully being there for you when no one else can be bothered.  So what is a hero to you?

Challenge #3:  Do a project sharing someone who is a hero to you.

Absolute MUST have for bloggers and blog lovers!

I was introducted to this amazing tool a little while ago:

It is free to use...you simple register and start adding the blogs that you like to follow.  You can even put them into categories if you like!  Then it keeps tracks of when posts are made on those blogs and pulls them up for you.  I have tried blog readers before and not really liked them.  This one works well for me.

Give it a try.  And don't forget to add Counterfeit Kit Challenge to your list.

How do YOU keep your blogs organized?

Desk Top File Project

So, I bought this with the intention of cataloging all of my stamps.  Ummm...yeah.   That never happened.  So it has been sitting in my scraproom for ages.  Just waiting for me to do something for it.  And then I found this:

It's okay.  No need to thank me.

Organize This: Cropping Supplies

We are on week 14 of our Organization Challenge!  How are your supplies looking?  Lean, mean and put away!

This week we are talking about our Cropping Supplies.  I used to crop outside of my home once a month.  I brought EVERTHING with me.  LOL  These days I stay home and don't need to pack anything.  I have a feeling that my Counterfeit Kits would make my packing a whole lot easier.

Head on over to My Love Affair with the Label Maker for todays lesson on getting your stuff together!

So...my question is...do you like to crop with friends or alone?  Why?

July's Window Shopping

Let's not waste any time!  I am SUPER excited about this:

What is not to love about this tape?  I'm hoping to have this in my stash ASAP!

I saw some cards made from this pack...beautiful!  The navy blue is the "pop" for me.  Love it!

The sentiments for this would be SO fun to color and use!  I never get tired of Gnomes!

The cameras are the best part of this set for me.  Really love the vintage feel!

I STILL have not been brave enough to make my own (although I have all of the stuff), but I really like the details on these.

SO many uses for these stamps from Paper Trey Ink.

These papers have my name on it.  Trendy and basic enough to use for every project!

Cha sneaks have been sighted!  Hopefully there will be LOTS of must haves for me!

Milissa's Lazy Days of Summer Kit

Milissa made a really cool page kit for us:  Lazy Days of Summer!  Check out the patterned paper she used!

And here is the great sketch she picked from Page Maps :

And here is her tease of some of what she made with her kit (she will "show all" on her blog tomorrow!).

Have some fun and make a little page kit to use this month.  I have a great one planned myself for our 4th of July photos.
