April 2021 - Forgery on the Fourth

Here's our inspiration kit:

Scrapbook & Cards Today Garden Party kit

Master Forger of Ceremonies Leslie loved the fresh sweet feel of the kit. I know that whatever part of the globe you’re in we are all appreciating gardens about now – either looking forward to them or enjoying them at their peak.

The little tassels would be an easy forgery. The acrylic pieces could be cut out of vellum. The watercolor floral would be a fun thing to try! The flowers could be created with a punch.

Which elements do YOU think the Master Forgers will have a go at?

Master Forger Laura dug out her flower punch and buttons to make daisy embellishments for her kit!

Master Forger Leslie worked on a few paper forgeries: the cherries, the little green sprigs, and the triangles - a total fail! I included it though to show it's still fun to try an idea. I even tried making my own triangle stamp with fun foam. Better luck next time!  (I did keep the stamp sets in my kit.)

Master Forger Tara really has a "thing" for Thickers, but she doesn't have the pink ones in the original kit!  So, she set out to create her own.  First, she tried her Cameo, but she couldn't get the machine to cut through the foam completely no matter how many passes she asked it to do!  :(  Next, she tried her Big Shot and some cute Lawn Fawn dies that she bought on a whim!  SUCCESS!!!

Master Forger Cindy pulled out some left over alphabet stickers to create her own words
