January 2022 - Challenge #1 - Use Your Tools

Challenge #1 is to Use Your Tools. You may have received a tool or two for Christmas. Wells let's put it to use and let no dust collect on it. So, pull out your punches or dies, that stamp set, your embossing folders or that new cut file and make a project with it.

As a reminder. Master Forger Cindy choose the digital Kit from Traci Reed - On the Go and Going Slow for inspiration this month.

Master Forger Tara:

I received some cute little leaf and bird nest dies for Christmas from my sister this year.  I like using stuff like that as layering pieces and so I used the leaves to layer behind my ephemera on this layout of my daughter and I on her high school graduation day!!

Master Forger Leslie used her new Cricut Explore Air 2, punches & dies to create a flurry of snowflakes for her take on this challenge! More details on her blog HERE.

Master Forger Tina used her punches, lots of punches to embellish her layout

Master Forger Cindy created a double page layout using the hexagon dies for the background and several of the flower and leaf dies and punches for the accents that were in her kit.

Blog post here,

Master Forger Juliet used her punches and her Cricut, probably two of her favorite tools besides her scissors!  (She does also love to fussy cut!)

Here is what the rest of January will look like.

  • 18th of January: Challenge #2 to inspire you to get creating from your own kit.
