January 2022 - Followers Showcase

It is almost the end of the month and time to showcase one of our talented followers. I love seeing their kits and then the projects they make out of them. I find it very inspiring and will often ask myself why did I not think to put that item in my own kit?  Today I picked Heather Hixon Buchieri. She says this about her January Kit " the colors and florals in the inspiration reminded me of Vicki Boutin's "Fernwood", so that's what I'm using."

I love the variety of layouts she made with her kit. First up is this love floral layout.

And this lovely mixed media layout - So Sweet!

Even a Challenge layout for Use your Tools.

These beautiful butterflies.

A beautiful double page layout using a sketch.

Each and every one of these layouts is different and gorgeous. The mixed media, layering and design is different on each and every one, so inspiring.

January is coming to a close, but I have one last duty on the 31st of the month and that is Killing Kits, so I'll see you then.

Here is what the rest of January looks like:

  • 31st of January: Killing Kits - an idea or two focusing up the bits and pieces left in your own kit.

You know that we always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can post them in our Facebook Community or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjanuary2022).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!

  1. These are fabulous; I especially like the two with the lighter touch (more white space).
