January 2022 - Kill that Kit!

It's that time for Killing our Kits, so I'm going to share a little bit about how I use my kit during the month. This month I used a lot of my dies and punches to make my embellishments.   I tend to save all the larger scraps in a sheet protector and the smaller ones in a baggie.

As I pull the scraps from the baggie I will punch, die cut, or fussy cut them then put then into baggies by color.

When it gets towards the end of the month, I will pull the smaller scraps and finish them off with my dies and punches. I add in other punches or dies not use the ones I pulled for my kit.

I will try to make a few cards and this year I am adding in tags and little bags or gift card envelopes. I made these with some of my scraps from my kit this month. I also added in a button die that I included on the cards.

I pulled out a die that has buttons on it that I included on this this card. The yellow folded flower is from white cardstock and colored with ink.

If you have scraps from your kit maybe pull out a few dies and punches to transform them into pieces you can use later.

You know that we always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can post them in our Facebook Community or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjanuary2022).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!
