February 2022 - Challenge #1 - Love Stories

This month our inspiration kit is the Denim & Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit by Cocoa Daisy from February 2021. I love the kit for it’s combination of rich and airy colors, its everyday life usefulness and the slightest nod to the Valentine’s holiday. Speaking of Valentine's Day, let's talk about how that leads into my first challenge for the month.

Denim & Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit

With Valentine's Day only two days away here in US, a lot of minds are on love. As I was looking into traditions of love from around the world I found some interesting ways love and affection are shared. In Argentina a "week of sweetness" is celebrated in July. Valentine's Day cards may have originated in France. And in South Korea, romantic love is celebrated each month on the 14th day. 

Challenge #1

So my challenge for you is to tell a story of love—romantic or not ! Do you have a love language that guides how you show love? Do you have a love for a favorite food or place? I'd LOVE to see all your love pages!

Guest Designer Gretl Dixon had this to say about her interpretation of today's prompt:
"A relationship that is important to me is mine with the Lord. 2020 was hard for me because His Temples were closed. For over a year you couldn't get in. In May 2021 the temples re-opened and I was quite excited. This layout captures some of that joy. I used scraps & turned them into heart banners."

Master Forger Tara created a layout about her husband being her home. The layout features a couple of photos of the two of them heading out on a date for their 22nd wedding anniversary!
