February 2022 - Challenge #2 - Repeat Shapes

 This month our inspiration kit is the Denim & Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit by Cocoa Daisy from February 2021. This kit has the slightest nod to the Valentine’s holiday. I'm letting that lead to our second challenge for the month.

Challenge #2
With hearts being an iconic shape for the month of February, we are going to be inspired by shapes. Use repeating shapes as a design element for your layouts: hearts, circles, squares, hexagons, triangles... any repeated shape counts!

Master Forger Juliet went with the hearts!  She cut out the same heart from her Cricut in two different sizes, even flipped them AND she used the negatives for lots of hearts!  A older pic of her husband and one of her sweet daughters!

Master Forger Tracey Campbell decided to go with the repeating shape of those little banner flags, also can you spot the repeated circles too? 

Master Forger Cindy also used hearts as her repeating shape.

Master Forger Leslie used her hexagon punches + sequins to repeat the shape 45 times!

Guest Designer Gretl said this about her challenge, "For this layout I used pink circle paper to the pink heart in the kit. Behind my picture I used Journal for Life page to add a contrast. Down the left side I used my mock flair from Forgery on the 4th. I used circles & hearts as my geometric shapes."

Master Forger Kate decided to go with CIRCLES! She hand cut some Teresa Colins circle papers from her mini kit and also hand punched some blue dotted papers and then mixed all the patterns together!

Master Forger Tina used hearts scattered about the layout using a cut file and stickers in various forms.
