May 2019 - Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit reveal & blog hop

Hi! Master Forger Leslie here wearing my Master of Ceremonies cape for the month of May! Here we are at that time - whichever part of the world you're in - when we are making the transition into a new season. Some of us are looking forward to putting on cozy clothes & enjoying crisp evenings, others are relishing shedding those same cozy clothes & having iced drinks in the sunshine.
Whichever is the case for you, I hope this month's inspiration kit suits you!

But first let's meet May's Guest Designer, Leanne Wagner!

I’m Leanne from Nannup, Western Australia. Where’s that you might ask? Well, just down the road from the famous Magaret River, wine country. Our town boasts the biggest, wooden, manmade clock in the World! My husband and I live on a rural property, surrounded by the beautiful forest and the Blackwood River. We are empty nesters, who have four grown children and one cherished grandson. Our only other company is a tribe of spoilt goldfish, led by Mr. Bubbles and a bunch of stick insects.

I am an artist and teacher (Visual Art & Digital Media). Like many of you, I have always been creative and this has spilled over into many of my career choices. I have been scrapbooking and paper crafting for over twenty years! In the past, I have owned my own papercraft business, taught workshops to young & old, worked the regions festival/conference trail, sold my artworks and had my work published. Now my passion includes passing on the love of creativity to my young students in all artistic disciplines. Creativity brings people together & sharing aspects of their lives and skills.

My husband would tell you that I am obsessed with scrapbooking & documenting life passing by. I love to photograph & capture special moments in time & save these memories to reflect on in the future. Scrapbooking for me is really my go to meditation, but it also opens a World of communication & friendships. I only came across the Counterfeit Kit Challenge about a year ago & quickly became hooked! One of my joys in life? When the first of the month rolls around & the challenge begins…bring it on, I say!

Okay then! Here it is:

My Creative Scrapbooks March Main Kit
Based on the Pebbles/Jen Hadfield "Chasing Adventures" collection that colorfully celebrates being active & exploring & adventurous! Here is the LINK (thanks, Master Forger Tina) to the unboxing.

The kit club also offers three other kits that you may choose from at the main kit link that are quite varied in style.

and challenges as you put together and use your kit.

Here's what we have coming up this month:
  • May 2nd: The monthly "Just the Gist" post can help jump-start your kit-making.
  • May *3rd*:  We'll have our "Forgery on the Fourth" post (where the Master Forgers will reveal how they created their own version of some of the items in this month's kit) ON THE 3RD due to International Scrapbook Day! Make sure to be back on *May 4th*!
  • May 6th:  We'll reveal a couple of mini-kits and projects, in case you're a little limited for time this month and would prefer a more petite kit.
  • May 12th & 18th:  We'll give you two challenges to help you use the kit you've made.

We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us!
