February 2026 - Inspiration Kit and Social Media Hop!!!

Welcome to February on the Counterfeit Kit from all the Master Forgers! This month we have a new inspiration kit to help you use up your stash! I am Master Forger Amanda and I am hosting the blog for the month of February! I hope that you are refreshed and ready to tackle some more challenges and you play along with us on Facebook!  This month's inspiration kit is from The Scrap Room's Flavor of the Month from January 2024.  This kit features Carta Bella'a At Home, PhotoPlay's Bro's Amazing, Simple Stories' Winter Wonderland and Vicki Boutin's Discover + Create. 


To add a little more embellishment to play with - I decided to include the embellishment kit too! 



As you can see, this inspiration has a lot of options that you can scrap all sorts of events and everyday activities with!  Make your kit as big or as small as you want to!  There are soo many opportunities to get those memories scrapped!

January 2026 - Inspiration Kit and Social Media Hop!!!

 Hello and Happy New Year from all of the Master Forgers at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog!  We are thrilled to start off the new year with you and a new inspiration kit.  I'm Master Forger Vikki and I will be hosting the blog for the month of January.  I hope you have enjoyed the holidays and are ready to dive in to our challenges this month. For this month's inspiration kit, I've chosen a relatively new collection, Curiosities In Willow Grove by Vicki Boutin for 49 and Market.  This collection is just fantastic and I think it's a perfect choice to counterfeit.  Here are some pictures of the kit:










As you can see, this inspiration has a lot of papers and elements.  I don't know about you, but I'm already seeing opportunities to make forgeries.  I hope the collection I chose inspires you to pull from your stash and create your own kit.

"My name is Melinda Barkman and I live in California.  I have been a scrapbooker, card maker and paper crafter for over 30 years.  I love the idea of taking paper and turning it into a unique album, card or scrapbook page that preserves my family life.  I have been married to the love of my life for 38 years and we have been together for 41.  We have two wonderful children and three fur babies.  I am very fortunate that my husband supports my crafting passion.  Being newly retired is allowing me to have more creative time.  In addition to paper crafting, I also love crocheting, sewing and spending time traveling with my husband and our fur babies.  I was introduced to CKC through Facebook.  I love being able to be creative with my stash and use up supplies to create memories for my family to look back on."

November 2025 - Counterfeit Kit Challenge Inspiration Kit Reveal & Social Media Hop

 Welcome to November with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog! Can you believe we are already revealing the last inspiration kit for 2025? If you're new here, we are still around in December, but we take a little break from our regular schedule of events for some festive-fun! 

Now, without further delay, here is our inspiration kit for the month! October Glow by Cocoa Daisy! In my neck of the woods, it has finally started feeling like Autumn over the past few weeks, and this kit just fits the current vibe of my surroundings! I was personally drawn to this one because of the very warm-toned color palette and the beautiful watercolor-esqe designs! I hope you find something to inspire you to dig into your stash here! 


As always, we have plenty of inspiration from our team of Master Forgers (check out the hop below!), but we'd also like to introduce our November Guest Designer, Lisa Cuneo! October 2025 - Counterfeit Kit Challenge Inspiration Kit Reveal & Social Media Hop

Wow the year is really flying by and look we're into doing October's kit already! Here in PA we're starting to feel that Fall is in the air. The beginnings of fallen leaves, apples and pumpkins too.

I've chosen a kit from the (Not) Just for Boys Kit Club its a retired kit  from way back. It has a bit of a travel feel to it and since I'll be traveling throughout the month it's a perfect way to start the month.

We are delighted to have Lori Stroup join us this month as our Guest Designer as a previous Master Forger it's great to have her back with us even if it's just this month.


Hello, everyone! My name is Lori, and I have been scrapping for 27 years. I live in SW Missouri with my hubby of 35 years, and we have three adult kids and one super awesome granddaughter! I am so excited to be back at CKC as a guest designer this month. Using up my scrappy supplies has always been near and dear to my heart, and what better way to use up those supplies than to make a "counterfeit" kit to work from.

I was a little nervous when I saw that the inspiration kit was a travel kit. We are homebodies and rarely travel more than day trips due to our youngest son's special needs. At first, I thought I might have to go rogue with my kit! However, our oldest son took his first international trip this spring, and this kit was just the push I needed to get some of the beautiful photos from his trip scrapped.

For someone who rarely travels, it was surprising to find so many travel collections in my supplies! My kit is much brighter than the inspiration kit, but it does have some of the same patterns and the same mood and feel as the inspiration kit.
