February 2026 Challenge #4 Baby Use those Scraps

 I know if you have been creating as much as I have been this month, you have a pile of scraps to use!! Challenge 4 is always using your scraps on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge! Scraps have an annoying habit of building up if you don't use them -- so this is a great challenge to do some more stash-busting, but now with the smaller pieces that you have collected over the month!

As the last day of February, here is one more reminder of what our inspiration was for this month! The Scrap Room's Flavor of the Month and embellishment kits from January 2024.

Let's see what our Master Forgers created with their scraps! 

MF Ryann has had this circle cut away in her stash for at least a year.  When she put her kit together, she decided this needed to get used up!  What better way than to use it on a Scrap Challenge?!?

MF JoJo

MF JoJo used her scraps to make this fun layout and she made it match her sketch challenge by using the scraps from that challenge.

MF Amanda 

I decided to use the larger blue and white scrap as a base on the black and then used some smaller strips and the dark blue pattern paper to mat my photos - this came together super quick, and made it so some of those very small pieces were strategically used, and not put in the recycling bin! My process is on my channel.

January 2026 - Challenge #3 Let's Get Sketchy!

How do you feel about sketches?  I love them!  Sometimes I follow them exactly.  Sometimes they are a starting off point and my final product looks nothing like the sketch.  And both are okay!  I hope you like this month's sketch.  I can't wait to see how you interpret it.

Our Master Forgers knocked this challenge out of the park!

Master Forger Ryann used her forgery paper and one of the journaling cards she forged as well for this.  She had landscape photos of her Disneyland trip from last summer that went perfectly with this kit and the sketch!

Master Forger JoJo

She found this paper in her kit and it fit perfectly with this month’s sketch. She used it to make a layout to keep track of her book that she reads this year, a new hobby that’s she been waiting to start for a few years now. The little girl she found the image on Facebook and printed it out and fussy cut it and added a giant Library card and embellishments from her kit.

Master Forger Vikki

I thought the sketch was perfect for a layout documenting two of my favorite things, books and coffee.  Most of the embellishments on the layout were forgeries created and fussy cut.

April 2025 - Challenge #1 - All for Love

Before we dive in with our first challenge of the month, let's take another look at this month's inspiration kit:

One of the things that jumped out at me about this kit was all the different quotes involving the word “love” - so, for our first challenge, include the word love on your layout! You do not have to use one of the quotes in the inspiration kit, but even better if you do!

Here is Jojo's layout, she scrapbooked photos of her oldest granddaughter who just turn 18 and is graduating from high school next month and heading to the Navy basic training in June.
